Wacha Olwol One of the three men who ruled Uganda under the Presidential Commission in 1980, has died this morning at Kadic hospital Kampala aged 94.

He and Judges Saulo Musoke and Nyamuconco were sworn in as presidents between May and December 1980 when the military headed by Paulo Muwanga deputized by Yoweri Museveni overthrew Godfrey Binaisa.

According to parliament deputy Speaker Jacob Oulanyah government is to take full responsibility of his burial arrangement and will lay in state Friday.
