off the 6th floor of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) office on Sunday

Solomon Gichira, an independent candidate is said to have lost control of his temper after his papers were rejected by the electoral body.

According to Kenyan online news site  Tuko, when IEBC told Gichira he could not be cleared to vie for the presidency he run to a window at the sixth floor of anniversary towers office broke the grass and attempted to jump out.

The aspirant’s life was saved by two security guards manning the building who grabbed him before he could jump.

Police said they will charge him for causing disturbance and destruction of property as he had broken the window of the building by kicking it during his attempt to jump
