High Court has dismissed Mujib Kasule’s application for an injunction on the Fufa General Assembly slated for Saturday in Masindi.
Lady Justice Margaret Oumo Ogule has ruled that Mujib Kasule did not present convincing reasons to call for an urgent certificate of injunction.
” There is no convincing reason to guarantee that a certificate of urgency be issued to stop the Fufa General Assembly,” the judge ruled.
This therefore means, the Fufa General Assembly will go on as planned in Masindi on Saturday at Kabalega Resort Hotel.
Incumbent President Moses Magogo will go unopposed in the race to retain the seat for the next four years.
Mujib Kasule through his lawyers Nsubuga and Company Advocates filed a miscellaneous case in the high court on Wednesday seeking for a temporary interim order doth issue restraining respondents and it’s organs ,Servants or agents from conducting the election for FUFA President and Executive Committee pending the disposal of the main application for a temporary injunction(miscellaneous application No….of 2017) or until further orders of this court.
