Kenya electoral body, the IEBC has today announced over 10 thousand poling stations without access to internet connection.

The body has advised that the presiding officers will have to move to nearby locations to access internet signals or use Satellite phones to transmit the results

Kisii County has the highest number of affected polling stations at 922 followed by Muranga County with 916 polling stations and Homa Bay with 892 stations.

The polling stations affected are;

16. Kisii 922 17. Kisumu 579 18. Kitui 175 19. Kwale 20 20. Laikipia 81 21. Lamu 12 22. Machakos 7 23. Makueni 81 24. Mandera 329 25. Marsabit 129 26. Meru 153 27. Migori 528 28. Muran’ga 916 29. Nakuru 153 30. Nandi 30 31. Narok 213 32. Nyamira 332 33. Nyandarua 33 34. Samburu 182 35. Siaya 775

There is fear in opposition about who receives the results first before transmitting to IEBC servers.
